Privacy, explained simply
What HUDU collects, why it is needed, and the choices you have.
Privacy at a glance
- HUDU creates an account with a HUDU ID. A phone number or email is not required for normal use.
- Android supports audio and video calls; PWA calls are audio-only. Permissions are used only for the features explained when requested.
- Kollmee Technologies does not sell your personal information.
- A valid account-deletion request is scheduled for completion within 60 days.
The details
1. Who we are
Kollmee Technologies operates HUDU on Android and as a progressive web app (PWA), and is responsible for the personal information described here. This policy applies when you use HUDU, contact support, or request account deletion.
2. Information we collect
Account and profile
- HUDU ID, profile name, gender, country, city, status, photo, preferences, ratings, blocks, and account state.
Device and location
- Device or browser identifier, push token, session token, IP address, device model, operating-system, app and browser version, CPU/ABI details where available, and diagnostic information.
- Latitude and longitude when you grant location access, including for registration, joining-bonus eligibility, safety, and fraud checks.
Payments and support
- Wallet, recharge, gift, purchase/order, receipt and OCR details.
- Daily eligible earnings, rank, challenge progress, bonus results, and related in-app engagement events for female earner accounts.
- Withdrawal name, bank, account number, IFSC, and mobile number when supplied.
- Reports, feedback, support messages, and crash details.
3. Calls, chats, and your content
HUDU stores chat messages and details needed to deliver them, such as sender, recipient, time, read state, and conversation summaries. Android supports audio and video calls; the PWA supports audio calls only. HUDU transmits and processes live microphone data to connect calls and live camera data only for Android video calls. HUDU does not record or retain the audio or video content of calls. HUDU stores only call metadata, such as participants, call ID, call type, time, duration, and charges. Profile photos, receipt images, and other material are collected only when you submit them.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Create and maintain your HUDU account.
- Connect calls and chats and send service notifications.
- Operate recommendations, ratings, gifts, wallet, recharge, and withdrawal features.
- Calculate daily earner rankings, award earnings bonuses, show challenge progress, and measure whether those features are useful.
- Check joining bonuses and prevent duplicate, unsafe, abusive, or fraudulent activity.
- Respond to support and reports, enforce our rules, and meet legal obligations.
- Diagnose crashes, protect service reliability, and improve HUDU.
5. App permissions
- Microphone: audio calls on Android and PWA, and video calls on Android.
- Camera: video calls on Android, and for profile pictures and receipt capture where available. The PWA does not use camera access for calls.
- Location: the disclosed registration, bonus, safety, and fraud checks.
- Notifications and full-screen call alerts: messages and incoming calls.
- Bluetooth/nearby devices: call audio routing.
- Legacy storage access: saving or selecting media on older Android versions.
You can deny or later change permissions in Android or browser settings. A related feature may then be unavailable.
6. When information is shared
We do not sell personal information. We share only what is needed:
- With another HUDU user when a profile, chat, call, gift, rating, or safety feature requires it.
- Female earners may see a male caller's exact spendable HUDU call points only when that male caller explicitly turns on the reversible profile setting. When it is off, HUDU may show only a broad call-capacity range.
- With contracted hosting, storage, communication, support, security, and payment providers.
- With Google services such as Firebase, Google Play purchases, notifications, and app diagnostics.
- With payment or UPI services when you choose a payment flow.
- With authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, disputes, or enforcement.
7. What other users can see
Other users may see your HUDU ID, profile name, profile photo, city/country label, status, rating, availability, and information you intentionally send during calls, chats, gifts, or reports. Female earner leaderboards may show an earner's nickname, approved profile photo, rank, and today's and yesterday's eligible earnings. If a male caller turns on “Show my exact HUDU call points to female earners,” authenticated female earners may also see the exact spendable offered + added HUDU call points shown by that feature. The setting is off by default and can be turned off at any time. HUDU call points are not rupees, a bank balance, income, or total wealth. Earned/withdrawable balances, bank details, precise location, device identifiers, and private support information are not shared through this feature.
8. Retention and account deletion
We keep information only while it is needed for the purposes above. A valid deletion request keeps the account usable during the waiting period but fixes a deletion deadline based on the first request. Account and associated data created before that deadline are scheduled for deletion within 60 days.
Limited payment, fraud, safety, dispute, or legal records may be retained longer when necessary. Such records are restricted and are not used for ordinary account features. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups until normal rotation.
9. Your choices
- Edit your profile and control device or browser permissions.
- Male callers can turn exact HUDU call-point sharing on or off at any time; it is off by default.
- Block or report another user.
- Ask questions or request correction through the Grievance Officer.
- Request account deletion in HUDU or through the public deletion page.
Submitting the same deletion request again does not restart the 60-day period.
10. Security
We use access controls and operational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and HUDU does not claim that chats or calls are end-to-end encrypted. Please protect your device and avoid sharing passwords, payment credentials, or sensitive information with other users.
11. Adults only and policy changes
HUDU is intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly offer the service to children.
We may update this policy when HUDU, its providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear at the top, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
